Soul Peel is a visual journal created by photojournalist Julia Hayes-Siltzer. She is also the founder of Mysterious Garden Party, an eco-conscious fashion line inspired by people’s cherished pieces of clothing, broken in and personalized through a life lived well.

The name Soul Peel comes from the title of a media journal Julia worked on privately as a teen, arranging snapshots of artists and visionaries that inspired her into a single, curated page. During her time at university, Julia kept a citrus tree that would bloom inside of her apartment, even on cold, winter days. The sentiment behind Soul Peel lies in the unique spark that everyone possesses beneath the surface, something that deserves to be unearthed and nurtured.
